If you'd like to add a story of your own experiences or an essay about corrections policy, send it to [email protected]. Be sure to change names and obscure details so that no one can recognize themselves in what you write. We don't want to embarrass anyone, and we don't want to invite any lawsuits.
Include the text in the body of an email. Do not send an attachment.
Essays concerning policy should be thoughtful, reasoned considerations addressing important policy choices. This section is not for discussion or rebuttal. Spirited debates are expected, but they should occur in classrooms and meeting rooms where people can engage with those expressing their opinions.
You should also note that there are no copyright notices in this website. Copying and distributing these stories and essays is encouraged. Doing so will advance my purpose to widely distribute the knowledge of these "scenes" to those who can use the ideas. Material you submit will not be protected by copyright laws.
Finally, you will also notice an absence of advertising. Arranging ads is a chore I don’t need to or want to pursue. I will pay for the website.
