Instructive Experiences in Corrections
Experience is an honest guide. It informs our expectations when we manage prisoners. If you are a CJ student or a new-hire in corrections, you will spend your days managing inmates. You should get to know what they are like. They are a crafty lot, and they will probe your weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
We veterans have been through a lot, and stories of our experiences provides vicarious experience for you that can build your confidence and guard against future manipulation attempts.
